June 30, 2010 (Sarasota, FL): The going was rough during the USAC .25 Mopar Nationals, held earlier this month at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. A loose fuel compartment safety clamp caused a disappointing disqualification for Noah Weaver’s #22 Senior Honda. “My Senior Animal car ran great during practice, but track conditions changed, and we just couldn’t get the car to stick during the main,” Noah said. Weaver Motorsports returned home without a National title, however things quickly improved.
Noah grabbed top-five finishes in both of his divisions during Round Three of USAC’s East Coast Challenge Series. Running third in Senior Honda, then second in Senior Animal during Tampa’s most recent points race was further proof that Weaver doesn’t stay down for long. “Noah’s learned so much this year, and he’s really settling into his own groove on the track,” Noah’s mother Katherine Weaver said. Katherine shared how extremely proud the family’s been of Noah’s accomplishments this season.
So what’s next for Noah “Double Deuce” Weaver? USAC’s .25 Mopar “Battle at the Brickyard” at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which will stream live July 6 - 8 on www.usacracing.com/usac_live/25. Noah will race in the Senior Honda and Senior Animal divisions.
